welcome to countryyans

Fellow Nigerians, bad service sucks, really really sucks!!!and it is so disheartening that every where you look in our dear naija, bad service stares you in the face, from the clean streets of abuja to the slums of ajegunle, you experience it everywhere everyday, infact every minute. There is absolutely no where you go in naija that poor customer service is not shoved down your throat, from gas stations to ministries, and even in the banks(where you keep your own hard earned money o!)Unfortunately, there are no avenues in naija to complain, most people simply swallow the insults with a 5naira sachet of pure water and keep mum about the affair ,as there are no avenues for airing your grievances ,talk less of seeking redress. The situation gets worse day by day,as the natural tendency is for the perpetrators to take it a step further the next time, knowing fully well there will be no repercussions, and no one cares.....
We cannot allow this to continue,if indeed we care about our country Nigeria.Service delivery in the developed world is top quality, and it is one major reason nigerians are trooping into europe and america. There are functioning checks and balances in these societies and it keeps people on their toes all the time, everytime. That is what we lack, and why we keep sinking deeper into the abyss day by day.
It is time to end arm-chair criticism, fellow Nigerians, speak out !

Accept this part of the blogosphere as my own contribution towards improving service delivery in our so-very-blessed-but -severely -poorly-managed-country called NIGERIA.

Have you been at the receiving end of some poor service from the public sector or private institution?speak out!scream it out loud and dont go home lamenting and sulking alone,it is your responsibility and believe it or not,you are helping to contribute to a better Nigeria for the coming generation.
If on the other hand you have been really impressed by wonderful and satisfactory service delivery anywhere, let us know as well,so we can give our thumbs up,its that easy and simple.
